How the Ascent works

Twenty-four camps up one mountain. At every camp you repeat the same short loop, and your professor bends the route around your goal, your time and what you already know.

The loop at every camp

  1. Learn

Watch and read the camp's resources, then do its exercises.

  2. Practise

Practice quizzes: as many as you like, never posted, with explanations.

  3. Test

8 questions, 12 minutes. 70% passes the camp.

  4. Climb

The camp is passed and your climber moves up the mountain.

  5. Check in

Tell your professor what you did and what confused you.

  6. Re-plan

Your professor sends a plan for what's next. One tap applies it.

Then back to step 1 at the next camp. The summit is a real launch.

Everyone shares one course. Your professor's changes sit on top of it, just for you, and show on your mountain. My course lists them under Changed for me.
